Federov May Ditch the Caps for Russia
According to several reputable sources, including this Washington Post Article, Sergei Federov's prospects in DC aren't looking too good for Caps fans. Its a bittersweet ditching, however, as his leaving would clear up a significant amount of cap space to bolster the Defense, which is VERY MUCH needed. Its not a done deal, but dont expect to see Sergei Rockin the Red next season.

Hate to say it but, It was time for Feds to leave. Even though he was a class act and a good mentor to many guys on the team, he looked slow on the ice throughout the season. Also frees up cap room. Happy for Sergei that he can get a chance to pay with his brother Fedor.
